For not having parents, Bekk was very understanding about how Raasha's were understandably defensive about her coming home with some alien man. Although, he had a feeling her mother wasn't giving the woman enough credit. A bit too trusting? Maybe. A fool? No. Whether it was unknowingly reading her the force or just her striving to learn basic, Bekk had feeling she could overcome any obstacle you could through her way. Still, seeing as everyone needed help from time to time, he was gonna be there to pick up the slack when she needed it.
The zabrak was about to ponder how long their partnership would probably last when Raasha stepped on his foot. He instantly recoiled his limb back once she raised off of it, more out of reflex than pain. For a moment he stared down at his foot blankly, then turned back to look at his friend with a laugh on his lips.
"It's alright, things happen. It didn't really hurt. Much~" Bekk fired back at her, with a mischievous smirk and a wink.
"Also, I understand where she's coming from, wanting the best for your child and all. I told her I'd look after you, but she really has no reason to trust me." He rambled off idly, picking up dancing where they left off a moment ago.
"I don't know how, but your grandmother found out how attractive I find you, so she's kinda rooting for everyone else to like me." He added, loosing himself to the beat and not remotely appreciating what he'd just admitted to his best friend.

Raasha blushed and touched his cheek in concern. In her present blood-alcohol content she felt more sympathetic about it than was normal.
"I'ze sorry!" She said, slurring a little bit.
Somewhat ironically, her comprehension or focus slid a little bit, and she missed the meaning of what Bekk had said about finding her attractive. The foreign words were heard, and somewhere in the translation they mingled with 'grandmother', and the power was lost. Somehow she filed it under grandmother's matchmaking and didn't give it another bit of thought.
The Togruta woman glanced about, and she decided to change the agenda again.
"C'mon, I can't dance, I'ze losing balance, but this better."
Raasha tugged him off the dance floor lightly, and headed up a slope to a hill overlooking the village. As soon as she was there, she lay down on the grass and pointed up at the sky, and the moons, now passing out of alignment again. What was more, she looked at the stars with a broad smile, they were hypnotic jewels in the velvet sky.
"Seez that one? Is Kroakiir, Great Akul in ski. An dat one, is the Hunter who stick up on prayer." Raasha giggled. "I'ze getting words wrong again, isn't I?"

Bekk was busy chuckling at his friend's deteriorating basic when she tugged at his arm to lead him away once more. He didn't have an issue with this clingy behavior exactly, but he could imagined it looked good to her family. The youngest daughter dragging away a man into the dead of night, after having more than a few drinks no less. It wouldn't take a brilliant mind to conclude that the young people were about to have a much more intimate and private encounter than Raasha actually intended.
Still, Bekk did nothing to hinder the togruta's path, only resisting a moment to slow down and snatch a cup of what he assume to be alcohol in passing. The cool contents turned out to be wine, which he thoroughly enjoyed with his free hand as they headed for their destination. Unlike Raasha Bekk stood standing after their arrival, if only to finish his drink while being upright.
"I see." The zabrak replied absentmindedly, honestly only half listening and understanding less that that of what she said. "Eh..yeah, your basic still needs work. The alcohol sure isn't doing you any favors either." Bekk continued in an almost sing song tone at the last sentence.
As much as he wanted to lay their next to her on the ground for the rest of the night, a real Akul would probably make short work of them if they hung out here for too long after dark. Instead he knelt down to gently hook an arm under Raasha's. "Come on, let's get back to your house. I think we've partied enough." The zabrak stated calmly as he helped his friend to her feet with just a bit of help on his side.
To steady her, and to make sure she didn't try to bolt, he threw her arm around his back and he placed one of his around her narrow waist. Besides nearly tripping over the cup he'd carelessly cast aside, Bekk had no trouble guiding them slowly back to her earth home. "Also, I don't suppose your family would have anything against me sleeping with you guys would they? I mean with you, in your house? Not together, just under the same roof. You know." He rambled off, desperately trying to put a nice spin on this mess.
"I think it's either your house or the speeder."

Raasha wasn't worried about akul, they were diurnal and they rarely came so close to village territory. They were rare here. Indeed the night was a safe time for them too. as there were few large predators about, and certainly none that would want to take on two bipeds unless food was scarce. It was the safest summer night on Shili, which admittedly was still on the dangerous side. What was a more real danger though was the fact that nights got chilly quickly, and they could wake up covered in frost. Still though, the stars were hypnotically beautiful. Raasha took the offered arm slowly.
She was still very surprisingly good at walking along, you could only seem so drunk when your stability and poise were legendary.
They made it back down to the house, and Raasha chuckled over Bekk's speeder comment, because that one fully registered, while his poor phrasing had managed to make sense to her the first time around, without room for creative naughty interpretations. Of course he was welcome to sleep inside. Grandmother and Sister both lived in the Wise Woman's hut, and her eldest brother had been married a year ago, and lived on his own too. That meant home was mother and father, and two brothers. Four people wasn't very close quarters by her standards. They even all had their own 'rooms!'
"Ish fine," Raasha said, "dun worry."
She pushed open the door and paused to stoke the fire in the hearth. Light snoring came from somewhere in the back. She led to one fabric wall, looked on the other side, then held the curtain open for Bekk. She kissed him on the cheek.
"Sleep Wool Bekk," She said, turning and disappearing into her own alcove just as quickly. She removed her major clothing, snuggled up in a worn bedroll, and drifted off rapidly to pleasant dreams.

There was no way to tell if the kiss on his cheek was the result of genuine affection or generous amounts of alcohol, yet Bekk liked to think it was the former. The old woman's proclamation of Raasha being a gem had floated around his mindscape for the better part of the day, and his friend had lived up to that description, even surpassing it in his opinion. The zabrak really longed to lean out and return the gesture.
In the end, Bekk just decided to beam a huge grin and wave goodbye for the night. They really both a bit too sauced to give any feelings beyond friendship, that may or may not exist, any play that night. It was guaranteed to not go over well with her family or his conscience. Still, after being left alone to his thoughts, he let out a slight sigh while removing his boots and socks.
Although, Bekk had to keep smiling at how well the day had gone, hell the whole week really. Minus the starving part towards the end. The zabrak thought he'd set aside all his pocket items and such before he decided to lay down, but landed on something hard. It only took him a second to realize it was his lightsaber.
He could only chuckle at how lucky it was that the weapon hadn't activated, while he slipped it out from the side holster and held it a loft. Bekk's finger lingered over activation stud which seemed to scream 'push me!', except self control prevailed this time around.
The zabrak finally stood the weapon up on its emitter when he had to stifle a yawn, then rolled over onto his side. His smile only faded slightly as sleep swiftly overtook his alcohol weakened resolve. Thankfully, he dreams were full of pleasant things; ships, speeder, credits, vegetables and a very familiar togruta in a very flattering dress.
