Q: How are these questions frequently asked when you made this before the site had any other members?
A: They're not, I lied assuming that some questions would be asked frequently.
Q: So do you have a chat room?
A: No, do you want a chat room? I mean you can just swap Skype usernames with anybody. But if it matters a ton we could consider getting one. Or making a skype chat.
Q: What's your skype username then?
A: TK-3187. Name Luke Ramsey. When you send a request, mention the site in it please.
Q: Can I make a Jedi?
A: No.
Q: Why can't I make a Jedi?
A: Because you're not an EU author. And though Jedi who miraculously survived the Empire pop up all the time in the EU, Yoda is all like "When gone I am the last of the Jedi you will be" so either you're calling Yoda a little green liar or else your character has to die sometime in the next few years.
Q: Come on I really can't make a Jedi?
A: Well I suppose you can. If you kill them off inside 3 years. And if they aren't powerful. It's really easier to not though because who wants their character to die? The only alternative is that they've ditched the robes and hidden the lightsaber and aren't a Jedi anymore.
Q: Why do they have to die?
A: Yoda's not a liar.
Q: But in the EU it-
A: Shhhhh.
Q: But-
A: SHHH.
Q: UGH. FINE.
A: Better.
Q: Well can I make an Inquisitor?
A: Maybe. Sell me on it and we'll see.
Q: Why don't you seem to like force users?
A: I don't dislike them. I even have one. But the thing is, they should be uncommon. And there's usually a lot of them running around on sites even when they shouldn't be. Also the more forcies you see the more people there are going 'oh yeah Snuffy is a 19 year old Jedi Master who does Juyo with two saberstaffs and can implode planets.' And that kind of thing starts arguments so it's best to just avoid it in the first place.
Q: That's not very conventional, is it?
A: *points to forum title*
Q: OK I get it, no Jedi. But you said you had a forcie?
A: Yes. You can have characters with the force, with permission. But it should make sense, like they no longer identify as a Jedi for example. There are paths but we want them to be... Unconventional.
Q: OK fine, what kind of character CAN I make?
A: Well pretty much anything. Look at all the options thanks to my ridiculous concept generator! LINK!
Q: I'm sold, how do I join?
A: Register. Pick a username. Read the rules, read instructions, introduce yourself, get to know people, and toss up a character app.
Q: What kind of quality are you looking for here?
A: Published authors mostly.
Q: Really?
A: No. This is an RP site. I doubt any of us could get published. Write what you can, if it sucks, oh well. You'll get better with practice, we all did. The trick to getting good is sucking long enough that you figure out how to change it.
Q: Are you single you sexy, sexy beast?
A: Yes I am. I also enjoy long walks on the beach, high quality coffee, cooking, and artisanal cheeses. Call me.
