Of all the goofy situations Bax had ever found himself in, this current farce ranked up there with the time he woke up in a nightgown on Ryloth. During the exchange between the Kyra and troopers he stood nearly statuesque, only moving to breath and to tighten the grip on his takeout box.
Slowly a smile started to form on his lips as the famed professional killers of the empire started to show their true colors. Bax almost felt sorry for the pair. The one longing to be recognized by Kyra in particular. It took balls to hit on an alien in uniform like that, and it was almost sad they he wasn't the one getting laid tonight, but his suffering made the junker still want to break out with a round of gloating.
Bax's smile reached full intensity after he saw the poor bastard miss out on getting whatever it was he was heading to Lou's for in the first place. That was just the perfect icing on the cake. In comparison, the junker got to eat his cake, and fuck it too.
"Well, that went WAY better than I expected..." He idly muttered, after the troopers were out of sight. Bax nearly expected them to return to explain their horrible discipline and form was because they were really a comedy duo.
Ironically, it was much funnier to know they were real soldiers of the empire. With idiots like that the junker started to wondered if the resistance even needed blasters to take over the planet.....
"Well, that happened. Back to the ship then I guess, gonna need you to lead again. My memory, and mind of a whole, seems to have failed me after meeting those guys." Bax said, throwing a grin over his shoulder as he walked towards his swoop.

Lyra cocked an eyebrow and had a confused look on her face as the Stormtrooper was dragged away by his buddy. She hadn't seen that happen before...ever. Her impression of the Stormies was as the elite of the Empire's military might.
The Twi'lek could say, with certanty, she was anything but intimidated. If anything, Lyra was amused. As the trooper who was speaking to her was dragged away, and bid her a nice day, she held her takeout box in one hand and gave a half hearted wave with her other, before returning it to the box. After they'd gotten out of sight, she blinked and shook her head. At this rate, her and Rin could take over Garqi with a couple of bricks and good aim.
After they were out of sight, Lyra let out a cackle of a laugh, if they were the military the resistance was fighting, the rebellion would be like watching a pair of retards fight over a piece of candy, she thought, taking a few steps to catch up with Bax as he spoke, not really needing to put on a smile to match his grin she saw him shoot over his shoulder, the afterglow of her laughter continuing to light up her features.
Oh my goddess that was awesome...
She mused, heading to her swoop and tossing her takeout box in a saddle bag, then tossing a leg over and mounting it, pushing her bum out a bit more than she normally would while she adjusted her seating postion...Lyra knew Bax was interested, she didn't mind showing off a little to a captive audience.
Well, I don't think you'll have any problem following me back.
She mused with a cute smirk, flicking the start lever on the swoop's rusted and mostly non-functional control panel...and getting no response.
The fuck...
She muttered, flicking it off then back to the start position, still getting no response.

Lyra's caustic laugh was the poster child for the sound of an unrefined, low born person from the edge of civilized society, but Bax just couldn't get enough of it. To him it was the sublime sound of someone having the time or their lives, or at least just pouring out their joy with no regard to the people around them. In Lyra's case, it might have been both.
Either way, the junker had to admire that about her as well. He was sure she was laughing at the bumbling troopers this time, yet it was distinctly him that caused her laugh and to accidentally snort some ale. Kara didn't seem to like his corny brand of humor as much as the Twi'lek, that was for sure.
It made the feel good when he brought something to the table other than money, protection, and a good fucking.
After Lyra's laughter died down, Bax mounted his bike and brought it roaring to life. He'd just slid down his goggles when he first noticed a distinct lack of the air pulsing with another repulsor engine. The junker powered down his own machine after he noticed that the Twi'lek seemed to be having trouble with hers.
After a swift dismount he removed a small container on hand tools from the saddlebag below his takeout, and jogged over to see what the problem was. "Pardon me for...probing around." Bax stated with a sultry change after the pause, after reaching a hand down towards the control between Lyra's supple thighs. The moment he managed to open the hatch a smell of melted plastic and fused metal flooded out of the compartment.
"Can't tell without really..getting in there, but looks like the starter's leads have burned out. Gotta replace it before this wreak is going anywhere..." He explained, turning serious after dropping another suggestive comment.
"Guess we'll both just have to take mine~." He continued with a wide grin, while removing his hand from being so close to tonight's final destination. "You wanna drive, or shall I?"

Lyra smirked while he fiddled around with the speederbike's control panel, between her legs. Though it wasn't her intention, the situation had turned out fairly well. The Twi'lek hadn't expected him to dash over and take a look at the striken craft right then and there, and found it endearing. Most people would have just offered her a ride, he actually wanted to see what was wrong.
Then again, the control panel was fairly close to her lady parts, so she couldn't blame the man for wanting to have a poke around. She'dve done the same in his shoes.
Bax's theory on the bike's lack of cooperation was as good as any in Lyra's book, long and short of it was the thing wasn't going anywhere and she'd have to scrounge a part somehow to get it working again. Not that it was overly hard for her, the Imperials threw out perfectly good parts all the time because they were being "end of life'd". That, however wasn't the most pressing issue on her mind. Baxes question of weather or not she wanted to drive was being weighed.
Lyra could let Bax drive, and have to direct him, and might get a grope or three in on the way, or she could drive and let him have some fun on the way back to his ship. The girl put on a smirk and stood up, looking at the swoop for a moment and surmising she could probably drive it just fine. Truth be told, Lyra wasn't very good at actually moving to the physical part of things. Once they were there the she was fine, but getting over the hump was her weakness.
She smirked, and looked back over at Bax.
Gimmie the keys, slick, I can take it from here.
She said stepping forward with a palm facing up, and her grin now a wry smile.

In the midst of posing his last question to Lyra it suddenly occurred to Bax how little he actually used his technical knowledge. It was kind of saddening actually. The Drifter had the typical durability and reliability of your standard corellian made ship, but it still needed a loving and attentive person to look after. Unfortunately, Bax was not that person.
It was only by the grace of having to repair his usual salvage loot on a regular basis that his skills had stayed marginally sharp. The junker was ninety percent sure his diagnosis was right about the starter being the issue, but still couldn't name the cause for the corrosion if his life depended on it.
"Alright, just try to get us there in one piece." Bax answered back, while dropping his keyes into her waiting palm, with a wink and a knowing smirk. Inner thinking and contemplation would immediately take a backseat to the current proceedings, especially since he'd just agreed to the act of riding bitch on his own bike.
The decision started to haunt the man in earnest while putting up his tools, as he thought of the image he was about to project riding like that. Macho fueled protest aside, it sounds like a bad time all around. Except of course for having ample time and accessory to Lyra's equally ample curves. He'd keep things light of course, 'No stimulation of erogenous zones in transit' seemed like a very fair rule of thumb with a woman he barely knew being involved.
After betting Lyra get adjusted to the seat of his Flare-S, Bax slung a leg over it to join her. "Ready when you are!" He'd yell over the roar of the repulsors, before deciding to wrap an arm around her waist and the other the found a home along her upper thigh.

((OOC: This thread is stale as a month old breadstick and it's my fault. I've lost interest and I apologise, once again, my fault. Because of this, I'd like to wrap it up as quickly as possible so we/I can get onto the next, fresh adventure, instead of me forcing myself to post in one that's become old and stale.))
IC:
Lyra smirked and let Bax grab onto her while they zipped over the ocean towards the bay where he'd landed the ship. The rush of wind and it's associated noise precluding any real form of conversation. His avoidance of her lady parts during the run was appreciated by the Twi'lek, flying while getting played with was an accident waiting to happen. That being said, the man had his hand on her thigh, which combined with his demeanour made his intentions obvious. It pulled Lyra's mind off her broken speederbike and put her at ease, to an extent.
Lyra could worry about her problems later, she though, zipping down the homestretch towards Bax' ship.
A moment or two later, and Lyra was manoeuvring the Swoop towards the ramp, turning the key to turn it off and stepping off, leaving the keys in the ignition and nodding towards them. The bold Twi'lek didn't waste any time, and pulled off her simple linen shirt and dropped it onto the beach beside the bike. Lyra wore a wry grin as she stepped over and got on the bike backwards, facing Bax. The woman made eye contact as she slid her hands over his thighs and scooted forwards, her intentions clear.
