OK not just foods. Things that make foods. Why do we have this oddly specific category? Well maybe what makes you happy is writing about varieties of space potatoes, or listing the various animals one can hunt on some obscure planet. And how they taste.

You might not have a favorite space vacation destination in reality, or even a modest dream cottage. However this is where you can plop down whatever special locations you want to use. Maybe its a house, or a planet, or a space station.

Not the place for your fics about Sherlock and Watson's forbidden love, unless you have some very specific ideas about them doing the horizontal hula onboard an exactingly designed spaceship.

Coruscant, Alderaan, Chandrila, Corellia, and the black sheep of the family: Abregado-Rae. These worlds are mostly wealthy, large, and important. And they know it.

As you may have surmised from the name, these were mostly colonies at one point. The worlds here are eclectic, and range from Arkania's mad scientists to Loronar's shipyards.

The Inner Rim is a big swath of the galaxy. From Thyferra to Bilbringi, it covers a lot of area, but not so much as is hard to control effectively.

It's a region. Of expansion. Generally speaking its narrow, and relatively sparsely filled with planets. Many of the worlds are rather undeveloped, like Shili, and on the whole it tends to be a quieter patch of galaxy marking the beginning of what is 'less civilized.'

The Mid Rim has special importance. The large worlds here are important specifically because they offer a sense of 'continuity' between the Core and the Outer Rim, transitioning the 'civilization.'

The Outer Rim has a few shiny parts. Eriadu's industrial might, Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa's sleepless business. However on the whole, the Outer Rim is full of tiny sparsely populated backwater worlds that have few people who want to visit and plenty of people who'd like to leave.

I hear tell they're unknown.
